Privacy Policy

Stabilix LLC (“Stabilix”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to the request form on it. It does not cover information we collect in other ways — for example, under a purchase agreement or a clinical evaluation — which is governed by the terms of those arrangements.

1. Who we are

Stabilix LLC, 3400 Silverstone Rd, Suite 133, Plano, TX 75023, United States. We are the “controller” of the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

When you use the request form, we collect your first and last name, work email address, institution, role and country; the treatment platform you use (optional); what you asked for (the brochure, a demonstration, or both) and your preferred demonstration format; and your confirmation that we may contact you, together with the date and time you gave it. If you email or call us, we collect what you tell us in that correspondence.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Like every website, the Site is delivered through a hosting and content-delivery provider that receives your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and files you request (including the demonstration film) and the time of each request. This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and understand how it is used in aggregate. We may use privacy-preserving analytics that report aggregate visits without cookies or cross-site tracking.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

The Site itself does not set cookies and does not use advertising or social-media trackers. Its fonts, images and demonstration film are served from our own site. One exception: to protect the request form from automated spam we use Google reCAPTCHA, which loads only when you begin filling in the form. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and may set a cookie; its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. If you prefer not to interact with reCAPTCHA, you can send your request to us by email instead.

3. How we use it

• To respond to your request, send you the brochure or other materials you asked for, and arrange a demonstration.
• To follow up with you about AerFrame — for example, to answer questions, provide evidence and labeling, or tell you about availability in your country. You can opt out at any time (see section 8).
• To keep a record of the institutions and professionals who have expressed interest, so that our team does not contact you twice about the same thing.
• To operate, secure and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations. As a medical device manufacturer we must keep certain records; if your correspondence concerns product performance or a complaint, we record it as our quality system requires.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell it.

4. Legal bases (visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where these laws apply, we process your information on the following bases: steps you request before entering a contract (responding to your request); your consent (follow-up communications about AerFrame, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site, keeping records of interest, and communicating with professionals about our products in a way you would reasonably expect); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share it

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that process it on our behalf and under contract: our customer relationship management provider (Salesforce), our website hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare), our email and productivity provider, and Google (reCAPTCHA).
• Authorized distributors or clinical partners in your region, where that is necessary to arrange a demonstration or supply in your country. We will tell you when we do so.
• Professional advisers, regulators, courts and law-enforcement bodies where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to your information).

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How long we keep it

We keep request records while we have an ongoing relationship with you or your institution, and generally for no more than three years after our last contact, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Records we must keep under medical device regulations or other law (for example, complaint records) are kept for the period those rules require. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short, rolling period.

7. Where it is processed

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, this involves a transfer of your information to the United States. We rely on our service providers’ approved transfer mechanisms — such as standard contractual clauses or their certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework — and on your consent where you give it.

8. Your choices and rights

• Opting out of follow-up. Reply to any message from us with “unsubscribe”, use the unsubscribe link where one is provided, or email sales@stabilix.net. We will still respond to a request you have made.
• Access, correction and deletion. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, and in any event within 45 days.
• EEA, UK and Switzerland. You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
• California and other U.S. states. To the extent laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act apply to us, you have the rights to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent. We verify requests by contacting the email address we hold for you.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for the Site, access controls on our systems, and contracts with our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Healthcare professionals and patient information

The Site is intended for healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions. It is not designed to collect information about patients, and we do not want to receive it. Please do not submit patient names, identifiers, images or other protected health information through the Site or by email; if we receive such information inadvertently, we will delete it. Arrangements that involve patient data are governed by written agreements, not by this policy.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as those of regulators or publishers. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top tells you when it was last changed, and we will signpost material changes on the Site.
